Analysis Consulting
Financial analysis and competitive benchmarking, commercial prospect evaluation, and raw-material and finished-goods monitoring: judgment applied to a specific question in your business.
The challenge
Some questions are not answered by a standing dashboard but by a study: can this company handle the credit I am about to extend? Is this prospect worth pursuing? Am I buying at a higher price than my competitors?
What it involves
Three lines of analysis, each with its own method and sources. In all of them the deliverable is a supported conclusion —with the assumption and the source in view— not a table for you to interpret.
What you receive
- Financial analysis and benchmarking: statements, indicators, Altman Z and risk classification against sector peers
- Commercial analysis and prospect evaluation: who buys what you sell, how much, from whom, and with what payment behavior
- Competitive monitoring of raw materials and finished goods: international prices, origin, and what they mean for Colombia
- Prioritized conclusions and actions, with assumptions and sources stated
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Business Analysis?
Business Analysis reads the environment on a recurring basis; consulting answers one specific question with the depth that question demands. Often the second grows out of the first.
What is a financial benchmark?
Comparing a company’s indicators against those of its real competitors in the same sector, using the same calculation criteria. Without the comparison, an indicator is just a number.
Can I assess the risk of my client portfolio?
Yes. We classify the portfolio by payment capacity based on each client’s public financial statements. That classification is confidential and delivered only to you.
Which raw materials do you cover?
Plastic resins, steel, chemicals and finished goods, depending on the client’s sector. These have no open public quotation: the data comes from specialized bulletins and our own processing.
